A rectangular prism is a 3-D (3-dimensional) solid object that always has six rectangular sides. Rectangular prisms are measured using depth, width and height. Rectangular prisms are all around us and some real life examples include: Kleenex boxes, birthday cakes, chocolate bars, etc.
